EPCOT's Future World at Walt Disney World

The Walt Disney World Resort can be intimidating if you've never been there before. It encompasses 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, a downtown shopping center, more than 20 hotels, and PLENTY more! In this video, I tell a bit of the park's history and then break EPOCT down. There are two main area's to EPCOT: Future World and World Showcase. Here, I talk about the rides in Future World and give you some tips along the way.

Disney's All Star Resorts

Hi All! This weeks vlog is about Disney's All Star Music, All Star Movies, and All Star Sports Resorts. Though I haven't stayed at the Movies resort yet, I've stayed at the other two. So, I thought I'd share some info that I learned the hard way: trial and error.

Top 2 Money Saving Tips for Disney Parks

I've seen tons of lists posted on the internet about how to save money on your Disney vacation and there are many ways to do so. However, many of these lists are looooong and quite frankly, I never seem to have the time (or attention span) to read through a list that counts beyond 10. I know that Disney vacation can get pricey and there are a lot of ways to save, but I've narrowed the list down to my top two big money savers!!

I will go ahead and say for the record that one of the huge ways we save money is to buy an annual pass. We make sure to take two trips within that calendar year for at least 10 days per trip (this works with either a Walt Disney World OR Disneyland Annual Pass -- we've done both) and that saves us a lot -- at least, on the second trip. ;) Since most people are not in a position to buy annual passes or visit the park enough times to make an annual pass worth it, I did not include it in my top two. However, if you visit the parks often, definitely look into the annual passes.

Also, one thing I forgot to mention in the video as part of my number one tip is to bring a water bottle and fill it with water while you're there instead of buying drinks every time (you'll see how this fits in with #1 when you watch the vid). HUGE $$ saver! :)

Disney's Magic Bands Q&A

After my Magic Band vlog, a few of you contacted me with questions, so I thought I'd do a post of questions and answers for everyone to read. If you have any further questions, please let me know!

Q: What if I have one of Disney's Annual Passes attached to Magic Band?
A: I also have an Annual Pass attached to my Magic Band. I have been told by a Cast Member that you will be sent a new Magic Band for every trip you take to the parks (as long as you're staying on Disney property for each of these trips). You can use your new band or your old one. They will both be active.

Q: Do they send you the same color each trip that I use my Disney Park Annual Pass?
A: You must choose a Magic Band color (and confirm the name to be printed on each one) for every band. So, you could potentially get a new color each time if you wanted to.

Q: What if I have an Walt Disney World Annual Pass and I have a Magic Band from my last trip, but am not staying on property for my next trip?
A: In that instance, you would not receive a new Magic Band, but it is my understanding that you should still be able to use the one you already have.

Q: What are the best rides to choose for our FastPass+?
A: We used our FastPass+'s for some of the bigger and more popular rides like Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Test Track and Soarin'. I don't even bother trying to go on Soarin' Over California or Peter Pans Flight without FastPasses anymore; they're ALWAYS insanely busy! However, most rides will have one or two times throughout the day where you'll find a reasonable wait time. Keep an eye on those wait times and you'll know whether or not you'll want to use a FastPass. So, as for the rides you should use your + passes on, I'd choose your faves!

Additional Magic Band info…

- If you buy a Park Pass online, (in addition to linking it through My Disney Experience) you must activate it on your Magic Band by going to Guest Services at one of the parks.

Disney's Magic Bands

I know those of you that haven't had the opportunity to use Disney's Magic Bands and My Disney Experience probably have a ton of questions. I know I did! Fortunately, last December I was chosen to test this AMAZING new service. I absolutely love it! It's not perfect yet, but my party and I had a great time with it. Please check out my video!
